PBS Books has developed the PBS Books Library Showcase and partnered with six libraries to highlight aspects of these exemplary libraries.
On Tuesday (May 21), PBS Books hosted a webinar to discuss the PBS Books Library Engagement Program and resources available to libraries across the country. It was a huge success! Nearly 350 people participated and will receive numerous resources. Topics covered were: program offerings, how to crosspost, and ways to benefit from the PBS Books program.
The American Library Association promotes libraries and library education nationally and internationally. It is the oldest library association in the world. The ALA Programming Committee, which is comprised of passionate librarian, published the following article on their blog about the recent collaboration of PBS Books, the American Experience, and libraries.
